WELCOME TO ATEAM/AmeriCorps!
ATEAM is an AmeriCorps project, committed to serving elementary, middle, and high school students of central and western Kentucky in partnership with supportive schools, and involved communities to provide tutoring and mentoring assistance. AmeriCorps members will serve the targeted population in the following priority issues: tutoring and mentoring. Counties served in Kentucky are: Barren, Crittenden, Hancock, Marshall, Pulaski and Webster. We also serve children through MentorKids! in Owensboro.
Take a look around and please check out the bookfolders. They are a great resource for teachers, aides and parents to use to help their students with reading comprehension. Bookfolders are produced by AmeriCorps members serving with ATEAM and are exclusive to this program.
