June 2011--Build a Bed, Crittenden County
20 beds were built by volunteers for children in Crittenden County who did not have a bed to call their own. This event was organized and led by ATEAM member Mary Ann Winders...GREAT JOB!

The finished product--sanded, stained, built and varnished!

Volunteers working hard to build the side boards.

Our younger volunteers decorating the slats for the beds.

A decorated slat--great words!

Let's get everything square, ladies!

Lots of beds drying after they were varnished.

February 2011--Hearts from Home

I wanna say thanks for the Valentine Day cards that we received
from the students at Southern Elementary in Pulaski County. I
submitted a photo of the unit. We are the HHC, 129th Combat
Sustainment Support Battalion out of Fort Campbell, KY. I am the
Supply Sergeant. "I want to tell the kids that school is very
important and that education is really going to carry them far in
life. So continue to listen to your teachers because they are there
to teach you what you will need to know to survive in todays
world." I will continue to stay in touch and maybe send more
pictures and maybe when we return from our duty, we will stop by
the school and talk to the kids if its ok. Thanks once again!
